MORNING WORSHIP
“Cease striving and know that I am God..” PSALM 46:10
Pre-Service Music arr. Howlett

Call to Worship Psalm 34:1-5
I will extol the Lord at all times;
His praise will always be on my lips.
I will glory in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Glorify the Lord with me;
let us exalt his name together.
I sought the Lord, and He answered me;
He delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant;
their faces are never covered with shame.
Invocation Tim Shephard
*Hymn of Praise Holy, Holy, Holy
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee,
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,
Who wert, and art, and evermore shalt be.
Holy, holy, holy! Tho’ the darkness hide Thee,
Tho’ the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see;
Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee,
Perfect in pow’r, in love, and purity.
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All Thy works shall praise Thy name, in earth, and sky, and sea;
Holy, holy, holy; merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

Congregational Confession of Prayer
O most great, most just and gracious God;
You are of purer eyes than to behold iniquity;
but You have promised mercy through Jesus Christ
to all who repent and believe in Him.
Therefore, we confess that we are sinful by nature
and that we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God.
We have neglected and abused your holy worship
and your holy name.
We have dealt unjustly and uncharitably with our neighbors.
We have not sought first Your kingdom and righteousness.
We have not been content with our daily bread.
You have revealed Your wonderful love to us in Christ
and offered us pardon and salvation in Him;
but we have turned away.
We have run into temptation;
And the sin that we should have hated,
we committed.
Have mercy upon us, most merciful Father!
We confess you alone are our hope.
Make us Your children
and give us the Spirit of Your Son, our only Savior.
Amen.
*Hymn of Reflection The Lord is My Salvation
The grace of God has reached for me, And pulled me from the raging sea.
And I am safe on this solid ground: The Lord is my salvation.
I will not fear when darkness falls, His strength will help me scale these walls.
I’ll see the dawn of the rising sun: The Lord is my salvation.
Who is like the Lord our God? Strong to save, faithful in love.
My debt is paid and the victory won: The Lord is my salvation.
My hope is hidden in the Lord, He flow’rs each promise of His Word.
When winter fades, I know spring will come: The Lord is my salvation.
In times of waiting, times of need, When I know loss, when I am weak.
I know His grace will renew these days: The Lord is my salvation.
Who is like the Lord our God? Strong to save, faithful in love.
My debt is paid and the victory won: The Lord is my salvation.
And when I reach the final day, He will not leave me in the grave.
But I will rise, Christ will call me home: The Lord is my salvation.
Who is like the Lord our God? Strong to save, faithful in love.
My debt is paid and the victory won: The Lord is my salvation.
Glory be to God, the Father, Glory be to God, the Son,
Glory be to God, the Spirit; The Lord is our salvation.
Glory be to God, the Father, Glory be to God, the Son,
Glory be to God, the Spirit; The Lord is our salvation.
The Lord is our salvation.
The Lord is our salvation.

Titus 2:1-10
*Song of Assurance All I Have is Christ
I once was lost in darkest night
Yet thought I knew the way
The sin that promised joy and life
Had led me to the grave
I had no hope that You would own
A rebel to Your will
And if You had not loved me first
I would refuse You still
But as I ran my hell-bound race
Indifferent to the cost
You looked upon my helpless state
And led me to the cross
And I beheld God’s love displayed
You suffered in my place
You bore the wrath reserved for me
Now all I know is grace
Hallelujah all I have is Christ
Hallelujah Jesus is my life
Hallelujah all I have is Christ
Hallelujah Jesus is my life
Now Lord I would be Yours alone
And live so all might see
The strength to follow Your commands
Could never come from me
O Father use my ransomed life
In any way You choose
And let my song forever be
My only boast is You
Hallelujah all I have is Christ
Hallelujah Jesus is my life
Hallelujah all I have is Christ
Hallelujah Jesus is my life
